Signature Bank Teams Up to Help Knock Out Hunger

Signature Bank of Georgia collects food and joins in the fun at third annual Community Assistance Center Food 'n Fun Festival.

Signature Bank of Georgia team members joined forces on May 2  to participate in the Community Assistance Center’s (CAC) third annual Food ‘n Fun Festival.

The event, held at North Springs High School, benefitted the much-needed Food Pantry at the CAC

Led by Signature Bank Market President Augustus Brown and Volunteer Coordinator Mary Ladd, the bank took part in many of the festivities, which included the Circus, Inflatables, Kids Zone, Old Fashioned Carnival Games, Shopping Cart Decorating, Battle of the Bands, Parade around the Track and more.

“This is a great community event and we were thrilled to hear that over 26,000 pounds of food was delivered to the CAC,” said Brown. “On a more personal note, I was very impressed with the way our Signature Bank team raised their game.”

The bank won “Most Inspirational Shopping Cart” with their boxing theme to “Knock Out Hunger” (the CAC event was held on the same day as the Mayweather-Pacquiao fight).  Signature was also the winner amongst all banks for most food collected.

As the only true community bank headquartered in Sandy Springs, Signature Bank is committed to supporting the community in many ways. The bank is sponsoring and team members are volunteering in numerous programs including the Sandy Springs Perimeter Chamber of Commerce, Kiwanis, Sandy Springs Conservancy and Leadership Sandy Springs, in addition to Community Assistance Center.
