Signature Bank of Georgia has named two co-winners for their annual "Volunteer of the Year" award. Director of Deposit Operations Debi Davidoff and Market President Augustus Brown are both being recognized.
Sandy Springs, Georgia, January 21, 2016 (Newswire.com) - For the first time, Signature Bank of Georgia has named two co-winners for their annual “Volunteer of the Year” award. Director of Deposit Operations and Security Officer Debi Davidoff and Market President Augustus Brown are both being recognized.
“Both Debi and Augustus are highly deserving,” said Mary Ladd, the bank’s Commercial Client Support Manager and last year’s Volunteer of the Year. “We couldn’t pick one over the other – they both went out of their way and worked tirelessly to make a difference in the Sandy Springs community.”

“Debi was passionately involved in working with the Community Assistance Center (CAC) in feeding the homeless in Sandy Springs. Augustus was equally committed to and their efforts to educate and inspire individuals from diverse backgrounds to hone their leadership skills.”
Signature Bank President Freddie Deutsch honored the co-winners in a ceremony at the bank’s Sandy Springs Financial Center. “Both Debi and Augustus epitomize the true spirit of volunteerism that we are proud to have as an important part of our culture here at Signature,” said Deutsch.
Signature Bank of Georgia encourages its employees to volunteer in the Sandy Springs community and last year 95% of the bank’s employees logged over 300 hours of service. The bank encourages participation by giving employees up to four hours a month to volunteer at a place of their choice.
As “Co-Volunteers of the Year,” Davidoff and Brown each accepted a $250 gift card as a thank you. Signature Bank also matched these amounts to the organization of their choice. Debi chose “Bert’s Big Adventure” and Augustus selected “Rally Foundation for Childhood Cancer Research.” Names of the co-winners will be engraved on a perpetual commemorative plaque to be displayed in the bank’s corporate office.
